Mudeford Lifeboat
Fun Day

Welcome To The Mudeford Lifeboat Fun Day

Welcome to Mudeford Lifeboat Fun Day, Sunday 22nd July on Mudeford Quay, a day packed full of fun and entertainment for all the family to raise money towards the Mudeford Lifeboat Station running costs of £68,000.

The fun starts at 1pm with the annual Raft Race in the Run, fairground rides and stalls on the Quay head. As always there will be plenty to eat and drink with the usual BBQ setup sponsored by Cookes Furniture. There will be a Carousel, Big Wheel and lots more to keep you entertained throughout the day. The Bath Travel Air Display will be back at around 3pm with demonstrations throughout the day by the Lifeboat and the HM Coastguard helicopter.

As usual the Grand Prize Draw and Charity Auction will be taking place with the usual list of fantastic prizes such as one week in the Black House on Mudeford Spit, Digital Camera, IPOD Nano, Brittany Ferry tickets and much more.. Don't miss the opportunity to come down and join in the fun, you can even meet the lifeboat crew and look around the station.

Parking won't be a problem with a 'Park and Ride' service supported by the local Air Cadets from Stanpit Recreation Ground.

Running into the evening with Live Music from 6pm and the Taverners Big Band at 8pm, plus a Grand Firework Finale at 10pm, kindly provided by Peeks Partystore. There will be food and funfair rides right up until 10pm.

Entries are already coming in for the Raft Race this year. With Team Thomas Tripp defending their glorious victory from last year, apparently they have already started work on the design and construction of their entry for the 2007 race?! This year the race will be taking on a different format from previous years with turning marks and a start line up in the middle of the Run

The Fun Day Committee welcome's you to come and enjoy the day, assured that all contributions will help to keep Mudeford Lifeboat equipped and afloat for another year.
